Paul co-founded MusicAlly - a new new online publication analysing the legal and commercial implications of how technology is changing the music and entertainment industries. He also acts as Communications Consultant for the Music Publishers Association where he edits Music Copyright Matters. Paul has consulted for a number of different organisations including DCMS, Manchester City Music Network and AIM. In March 2000 Paul published New Musical Entrepreneurs the UKís leading think tank.  Before the 1997 General Election Paul worked in the private office of the current UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair and he has also played bass guitar with The Sundays for a number of years.
